Your Community URL makes it easy for Members to opt-in to your Community by automatically opening a new text message directed to your number. By default it will be blank, but you can customize your URL so that a message is pre-populated. This is useful when you'd like your audience to text specific keywords to join communities you've set up in your account.
You can find your Community URL in the Resources section of the iOS app or web dashboard.
To customize the message, add ?t=TEXT to the end of your URL, replacing TEXT (case sensitive) with the keyword(s) you want to populate.
*Clicking the link will prompt you to send the message "CommunityChats"
To use a hashtag + keyword, replace the hashtag symbol with %23 in the URL.
*Clicking the link will prompt you to send the message "#amplify"
To insert a phrase, replace spaces with %20 in the URL.
*Clicking the link will prompt you to send the message "Tell me more about Community!"
To insert an emoji, first type the emoji into a URL encoder to make sure your customized URL is universally accessible.
🚨 NOTE: Make sure you have the keywords and phrases set up inside a community to gather members into that group when they use the URL.
