Wishing your Members happy birthday is truly a such a valuable part of the Community experience. It's something that's impactful and remarkable... and we just made it way easier for you to do!

How does it work?
The next time you draft a birthday text and click Schedule, you'll notice options to have the message send at a specific date and time, daily at the same time, or on a specific recurring weekday.
Depending on when the future birthday message is delivered, the message will be sent to Members who have a birthday on that specific day. The initial date that you selected represents the start date to your recurring pattern of choice.
With this flexibility, you can decide whether or not you'd like to have a simple recurring message that is sent daily throughout the year or if you'd like to create up to seven unique birthday texts that are sent each day of the week.
Once an automated birthday campaign is scheduled, you'll be able to find it in Scheduled Messages, with any recurring messages ordered at the top of the list for easy access. All of your other scheduled texts will display chronologically below. When the message is sent, it will become an outbound Campaign and display the exact recipient count.
Keep in mind that there is no specified end date for your recurring birthday texts. You have the freedom to switch things up at any time by canceling the existing message and rewriting a new one!
Things to Note
- If there are no birthdays on any given day, no birthday message will not be sent.
- If you happen to schedule multiple automated birthday campaigns that overlap (i.e. a repeats daily plus repeats weekly on a weekday), they will all send as scheduled and result in duplicate texts to the same Members on that given day. Review your scheduled birthday texts to make sure they are planned out as intended.
- This feature is available on the Web Dashboard as well as the iOS Community App.
