The first time a member texts a Community number, they complete a form that asks for: first and last name, gender identity, location, birthdate, and an email address.
This information collected is standardized for all Community Leaders and the sign up form cannot be edited. Members only need to fill out the form one time. For any subsequent leader they text, they simply need to click the link and tap "Accept" to opt in.
If a member needs to update the form (in case they move to a different city, for example), they can text "HELP" and select "Manage Preferences."
